October Board Meeting Highlights

Each month the North Cedar School Board shares a few highlights of our monthly board meetings. These takeaways are messages that the board collectively feels are important for the public to know. Here are the highlights from the October 17, 2022 regular meeting:

• DCAP Plan (District Career and Academic Plan):  The district has established a plan for 8th-12th grade students to explore careers and create a path to acquire a desired career.  The plan includes five main components:  Self-Understanding, Career Information, Career Exploration Experiences, Postsecondary Exploration, and Career and Postsecondary Decision.

• Used Vehicle:  The car was donated to the industry tech department for learning purposes.
