Technology
One of the responsibilities of our Technology Department is to ensure our students are ready for the workforce after graduation. Technology is a fact of life today, and we utilize all the resources at our disposal to expose our students to a wide range of technologies. This includes:
- Over 600 iPads for elementary school classrooms
- Over 400 MacBook Air laptops for junior and senior high school students
- Three DoubleRobots, one of each of our buildings
- Five MondoPad interactive computer televisions throughout the district
- Two STEM labs for our new startup STEM program, along with two STEM staff members
- Flat screen televisions with Apple TV combos throughout the district
- Interactive whiteboards with projectors in classrooms
North Cedar Students Get to Work in New 3D STEM Classroom
It was exciting having Jill Kasparie from KCRG-TV 9 visit our junior high and high school to do a story on the 3D classroom and zSpaces! The news story aired Friday, January 8 on the five o’clock news, and a longer version aired on the six o’clock news. We were thrilled to show off our wonderful school and innovative classrooms. Please take a moment to check out the pictures of her visit, and we invite you to view the article written on the KCRG-TV 9 website.
