As we conclude the 2025-2026 school year, the Board of Education extends its appreciation to all North Cedar staff members for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to our students throughout the year.
A special thank you goes to Food Service Director Jennifer Smith and the entire Food Service Team for their outstanding work preparing and operating the district’s Summer Meal Program. Their efforts help ensure that students continue to have access to nutritious meals during the summer months and reflect North Cedar’s commitment to serving our communities beyond the regular school year.
Your work makes a difference every day, and we are grateful for all you do for North Cedar students and families.
The North Cedar Community School District is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus vehicles and equipment:
Vehicle and equipment information will be available through the district office in Stanwood. Items may be inspected by appointment by contacting the Transportation Director. All vehicles and equipment are being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.
Sealed bids must be received at the North Cedar Community School District Office, 102 E. North Street, PO Box 247, Stanwood, IA 52337, no later than 1:00 pm on July 17, 2026. Bids should be clearly marked “Sealed Bid.” Bids may be submitted on individual items or multiple items.
The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the district. Successful bidders will be notified following board approval.
