Mousetrap Car Competition

Several ELP groups completed our first ever mousetrap car competition this week. The engineers worked really hard down the stretch to complete their cars and make on-the-fly modifications to improve their performances. They learned a lot about simple machines, mechanical advantage, and the engineering process despite all the hiccups that come with a first time project. Here are the final results!

5th grade Lowden (Timmy and Kaden)- 48 feet

4th grade Mcville (Sam and Adi)- 31 feet

6th grade Mcville (Kaylea and Morgan) -15 feet
