Registration/Admission
North Cedar’s student registration for the 2025-2026 school year will be entirely online. For current families, please use the Current Families PowerSchool registration link below starting August 4. Registration will close August 15. However, you may register onsite with any building secretary during the dates of August 4 – August 15. If you would like to register with the secretary, please call to schedule an appointment.
For new families, please use the New Families PowerSchool Enrollment Express pre-registration link below to initially enter your child into PowerSchool. Upon completion of the basic information that we need, you will be sent a confirmation email that we have received your pre-registration information. When we approve your initial information, you will be sent a welcome email and further instructions to complete the registration process.
–> Current Families PowerSchool Registration – look for “Forms” in the parent portal
–> New Family or New Student PowerSchool Pre-registration – after completing the pre-registration by clicking on the link, look for the confirmation email and welcome email.
This year, North Cedar CSD will have two online payment systems. Continue to use SchoolPay to pay for all school fees, but use EduTrak for lunch deposits.

EduTrak is accessible only inside the Parent Portal – look for Food Services on the left side menu:
- Click on Food Service
- Setup Account
- Accept Terms of Service by checking the box, then click Accept
- Account Registration – include basic information
- Double-check information, plus add payment information and click Save
- You should be able to add money to your family’s account – check to see if members of your family are listed. Let us know if there are mistakes or missing information.
At this time, EduTrak will not show the lunch balance from last year, but we are still working on that. If you want to see your lunch balance from last year, view it through SchoolPay, but still use EduTrak to put lunch money in your family’s lunch account.
You can still send a check or cash for lunch money and/or school fees to the school office your student is attending.
Registration must be completed by August 15 in order to ensure that class rosters, bus routes, class schedules, lunch accounts, etc. can be ready for the first day of school on Monday, August 25. Please make sure all information listed is accurate and updated.

If your student will be taking any medication at school on a regular basis, please bring them to the school nurse before August 18. Also, please fill out a permission form for the administration of this medication. The prescription bottle label is the order for prescription medication but over-the-counter medication needs a signed prescription from a physician. As a reminder, be sure that the bottle is properly labeled and that it is a recent (within a year) prescription. Important – if your student uses an inhaler, please be sure that there is a back-up inhaler in the school’s office. Any student who wishes to carry their inhaler must have a physician’s order to do so.
NEW: Free Activity Passes available for North Cedar resident senior citizens who are 65+. This activity pass is good for one free senior citizen admission to all North Cedar sporting events including away Tri-Rivers Conference sporting events. This excludes post-season and fine arts events. Contact the North Cedar Jr/Sr High School Office for more information.
