Cedar County Public Health will be administering influenza vaccinations to North Cedar students and staff. Moderna and Pfizer Covid-19 vaccinations will also be available for students and staff on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
The cost of this year’s influenza vaccine is $30 payable to Cedar County Public Health by cash or check. There is not an out-of-pocket expense for those who provide their Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare or Medicaid identification cards. In addition, children 18 years of age and younger who are uninsured or have insurance that does not cover vaccines will receive the vaccine at no charge through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
Parents who wish to have their child receive the vaccine will need to complete the consent form and return it to school by Friday, September 24, so adequate supply is brought to the clinic.
Influenza consents (adult and child forms) plus Moderna and Pfizer consent forms are available on our Health page or in each district building.
