September Board Meeting Highlights

Each month the North Cedar School Board shares a few highlights of our monthly board meetings. These takeaways are messages that the board collectively feels are important for the public to know. Here are the highlights from the September 18, 2023 regular meeting:

• Thank you to the Choir & Ms. Broring. Chamber choir members sang the National Anthem at the school board meeting.  They did a great job.  Thank you to Ms. Broring for all the work you do.
• Lowden Daycare Building.  The board has agreed to purchase the daycare building in Lowden.  This building is being purchased with SAVE funds and won’t affect the general budget.
• Calendar Change.  Due to state regulation and count day, the calendar had to be amended. Monday, October 2 will now be a full day with students. Monday, October 30 will be a full PD day without students. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
